Our 'Kitchen Table' patchwork group tries to meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays. May had a 5th Tuesday, so I proposed a UFO Day. One of our group is overseas enjoying a lovely holiday, so the other 2 arrived at my place ready for a day's sewing.
Here they are busy at work.
It was good not to start anything new, but to work towards a finish on a long forgotten project.
You can see my project in the foreground of the 1st photo. It just needed quilting and binding.
I've been quilting since late 2004. I really cannot remember the year I did this. The workmanship though is a good indicator that it must be from the early years. I can do my points a LOT better now.
Here's Lynda showing work on her Gardener's Journal quilt.
I'm not putting my project away. I will finish it this week. At least that is what I'm telling myself. LOL.
Take care everyone,
Kayly

that is a great idea to have a special UFO day - hopefully you will keep the momentum going
great idea..........looks like your having fun........OMG I can't believe "someone" is working on their GJ....
UFO days are great!! I made a label for a baby quilt I had already done and finally got stuck into quilting on a baby panel around all sorts of animals. Not as simple as my regular quilting style but at least a day like that gets you started so I can finish it and post it off to Victoria. Thanks for the day.
What a great idea, a day just for you UFO's. I thought I recognised that quilt Linda :)
Wise with UFO-days,your heart-quilt will be super! Tell Lynda I love her Gardern Journal together with the Garden Party:-)
Happy Quilting,Kayly!
