Catch Up

Hi Everyone,

The last couple of weeks have seen me trying very hard to catch up on the SKoW Stitch Along. I am pleased to say I am now only 2 months behind! Last night, DH was at the movies with workmates and DS was out and about with friends, so I had my own Friday Night Sew-In. I didn't join the official one. I will if I get to do it again next month. Here is where I am up to.

Easter saw hubby and I gardening, just tidying and mulching. It looked good when we finished. I then sat and thought about one more garden bed. Our son is all grown up now and doesn't spend any time kicking a ball around, so I can put another bed in. Hubby doesn't mind - less grass to mow, he reckons. We have low fences and I want to create a more private backyard with sitting spaces.

On Mondays, my SIL has her grandchildren and their mothers over for a Mums' Monday. It is a great way to catch up, see the children and for them to play with their cousins. On Easter Monday, DH and I joined them for morning tea and lunch. It was absolutely delightful -seven children under the age of 6.  Because it was a public holiday, all but one of the dads could come too.

As I was making the collage, I realised I did not get a good photo of the other two. Must remedy that. These are the children who are the recipients of the baby quilts I make.

I have been buying books and having thoughts about more projects. I'll be back with photos and reviews.

Take care,
Kayly
